So far, Desmond seems to be loving the drums. It feels like he had a real leveling up this past week – even Brian said so!
My daughters had an incredible year of learning, with so many note-worthy experiences along the way. One played cello, the other violin. Their tutors, Maddie and Rowan, were attentive and moved at each girl’s own pace. Renee, the manager, made all the events possible. When we found out last-minute that my daughter needed a piano accompanist for her cello exam, Renee went out of her way to make it happen. And even when Maddie (my daughter’s tutor) was traveling the day of the exam, she still called my daughter beforehand to encourage her right before she walked in. These small gestures meant the world to us. We’re so grateful for this team and our experiences with them.
Lessons are going great! Amy is great and my daughter is feeling more confident after each lesson.
Sicong is a phenomenal teacher, so I’m quite pleased with being paired with him.
I am amazed at how every single time Julia was able to [improve my son’s mood] and get smiles and laughs out of him during lessons. We are grateful for her patience and persistence!

It’s been a terrific year. My child has come on immensely in their confidence, technique, and also enjoyed picking up some piano. I’ve learned so much from my own, and got great help and guidance for recent performances. We’re both so appreciative and impressed with everything Kathi teaches us every evening.
My son has been working with Note-worthy Experiences for over two years, taking voice lessons with Anna. I’m honestly so impressed with how he’s improved in this time. Not only his voice and range but also his confidence, his ability to read music, expanding into different genres. It’s been an incredible transformation. Anna is so gracious and talented and also really hypes him up. She’s helped him with pieces for competitions and with fun popular music. I can’t say enough positive things about the whole experience. This extends to Renee, the owner and to the office staff as well. Just a wonderful and positive experience all around.
Note-worthy is amazing! Our daughter took voice lessons with them for years and loved it. The instructors are knowledgeable and committed and truly changed the course of our daughter’s singing and enabled her to achieve new levels.

Lessons have been great so far. Sohil, who is usually very shy, is starting to open up a bit more with Lauren and by the end of the class, the two of them are having a great time! Sohil is really enjoying it and Lauren is a wonderful and patient teacher. We hope that she is enjoying it as much as we are.
Yoham has been absolutely amazing with Yates. He has already learned one song and is on his second. He is so happy and smiles all throughout his lessons.
Makenzie has commented with us that she has been loving the lessons and how much she is learning and improving in her musical journey.
The lessons with Larissa are going wonderfully! She is a great teacher and I love playing the piano again!
Sunday’s lesson exceeded expectations. It was amazing to see Ellis sit down immediately and follow (most) of [Lauren’s] instructions. He’s so enthusiastic!

He is currently working with an amazing instructor who is helping him listen to songs and figure out the notes, then capture this on paper. We have known the studio for 10 years now. Three of our kids and one of the parents took lessons for many years. We took piano, drums (a few people), vocal (two of the kids), guitar, and two bands. We can’t praise enough this school. Renee, the founder and manager, is such a pleasure to work with! She tirelessly working on a convenient and enriching curriculum, matching teachers to students with care and thoughtfulness, organizing dozens of events like “instrument petting zoo”, concerts, performances in senior centers and at restaurants, parent nights, jam sessions – you name it. So, besides excellent education at a convenient time in your house, you get so much to experience – a really rounding musical education experience.
Besides that, one technical advantage is that since the teachers are coming to the student’s home for the lessons, you don’t need to necessarily live close to the school in Sudbury to receive lessons. All in all, it has been an amazing experience for the whole family in the past 10 years!
The management at Note-worthy Experiences responds quickly and is super easy to work with. I have been able to grow a decent-sized studio with wonderful families and have access to many music discounts, educational opportunities, and networking.
The recent Practice Tips Workshop was really a super helpful session, and I enjoyed learning more about Renee and Note-worthy. My son has really enjoyed his piano lessons with Bryce. Bryce does a great job engaging with his students and encouraging them to push out of their comfort zone. He has also made it fun and motivating by introducing different genres of music from Star Wars, to Holiday Music, to Bach. It has also been good for my son to have a male teacher; he really looks up to him and wants to do better!
My daughter is thoroughly enjoying flute lessons with Sho. She is so proud of herself for the progress she’s made so far, thanks to Sho for helping her with initial challenges in making a good sound and reaching the more difficult notes. Sho is a very enthusiastic instructor and is very sensitive to the way in which his students learn. He is always trying to think of new and creative ways in which to convey musical concepts and technique. Claire always looks forward to the next lesson with Sho!
My son has been taking guitar lessons for over a year now with Zayde Buti and it has been a wonderful experience. My son has always been fond of creating his own songs from a very young age and Zayde is fostering that love. Zayde encourages him to create his own songs while also teaching him the proper mechanics of playing the guitar. They have explored other music that my son loves and he has taught him how to play his favorite songs. My son always looks forward to his time with Zayde as he is warm and supportive and also an excellent teacher. We are so grateful to have him teaching our son!
Amy is the perfect teacher for us – 8-year old and 40-year old – first time piano students. She understands that children and adults learn differently and switches easily between teaching styles and techniques for each of us. She gently help us work on “problem areas” (keep those wrists up!) and inspires us to improve our skills and perhaps most importantly, love music. Amy is flexible, attentive, and encouraging. We love Amy!
Alexander is a fantastic teacher; he’s really patient with my kids and they enjoy their lessons — no small feat! We’re really happy with the lessons.
We love Sho. He got a few duets to have fun and our son insisted I come and watch. Our son even downloaded music for Pirates of the Caribbean after last class and practiced on his own so he could surprise Sho today. Sho keeps things fun and challenging and tweaks class in real time to encourage our son’s latest interests. We are so lucky to have him! Thank you!

Gabrielle loves the piano! The other day she was on FaceTime with her grandparents and played from memory a bunch, literally a bunch of recognizable songs! I cannot express how happy, proud, and overwhelmed I felt!!! I may have cried. It’s not just about the instrument or the task, it’s really about creating music, creating comfort and happiness for oneself through an acquired skill and/or one’s talent. Lessons are going really well. And [our son] had a great time performing at the Housing Authority. He’s already signed up for October! I also wanted to thank you for supporting us all as we transitioned to lessons with Connor. He and [our son] really seem to be hitting it off, and I appreciate the way Connor celebrates [our son’s] interest in composing. [Our son] has made wonderful progress playing with both hands and understanding rhythm.
Renee is incredibly knowledgable about both piano instruction and teaching more broadly. Renee understands what is developmentally appropriate and is preparing my daughter for more advanced skills when she will be ready by having a systematic approach from the beginning. She knows how to motivate and focus young children and has made piano lessons productive and fun for my daughter. Renee has routines that make the lesson flow from start to finish and my daughter knows exactly what to expect each week. She also has expectations that my daughter practice and be a responsible student which I appreciate.
Yusuke has been a wonderful guitar teacher for my teen daughter. His clear expertise, patience, and friendly manner make him a perfect match. He listens to her preferences and works with her to play songs that fit her style. Although she has only been playing for a few months, my daughter looks forward to her lessons, enjoys practicing, and is making great progress. We highly recommend Yusuke to anyone looking for a first guitar teacher!

Bryce has been amazing and I have learned so much about the piano but also so much about theory and music in general. I had a successful first semester in the music therapy program at my university and attribute a lot of that to his help! He even helped me work through some assignments when I was struggling.
We are so pleased with [our teacher]. Not only is she super talented and experienced, she is an effective communicator. I was so impressed with how quickly Sophie was able to master simple songs on the clarinet just a few weeks after first picking up the instrument and only after a couple lessons with [her]. Joe has been a good fit for Theo, who has felt comfortable and positive about the lessons. We are just two lessons in, but Theo feels like he knows what he should be working on and is excited with what he has accomplished so far.
