Note-worthy Experiences hosts many music recitals each year, in different venues from informal community service recitals at private Senior Living spaces to formal recitals at large School Auditoriums.

As you can imagine, it can be challenging to manage students of all ages and musical levels, learning various instruments, and assembling them into a cohesive group. It can be chaotic, and to avoid moving in that direction, we’ve compiled a list of expectations for each student so that we can give our best performance and keep everyone on track.

We look forward to having your musician participate in one or more of these recitals!

• Students are expected to stay until the conclusion of all events (both informal and formal) to support their fellow performers.
• Students are asked to arrive early, as we strive to start events on time. We understand that our families are very busy and have other activities to attend after our events.
• Students should have page markers or sticky notes on each page that will be performed. Please avoid paper clips that can damage an instrument.
• For all events except the Winter Holiday Recital, students should introduce themselves and the titles of the pieces that will be performed.
• Students should practice bowing after his or her performance. Bowing after each piece is not necessary.
• At our informal recitals, seating should be offered to residents first.
• Note-worthy Experiences does not provide an accompanist for every student at every event. If a student wishes to have an accompanist at the Winter Holiday Recital or Note-worthyPalooza, arrangements must be made 4-6 weeks in advance.
• If a voice student performs with a recorded track, a track without pre-recorded vocals is preferred.
• If a music stand, drum set, amplifier, microphone, microphone stand, or adjustable chair is needed, please note this on the registration form.
• A piano (digital or acoustic) will be provided at all events.
