Teaching Philosophy
“As an educator, I strive to create a relaxed and open learning environment while maintaining discipline. I believe in meeting people where they are and engaging them in the learning process. However, I also prioritize building a strong foundation and practicing the basics. My taste in music and art is eclectic, and I am open to exploring what inspires a person. I believe in delving deeply into any subject we study, as even the simplest musical expression can yield valuable insights. My primary goal is to inspire and motivate people to think independently and learn through experience.”
Biography
Zayde Buti has been sharing his passion for music through guitar lessons for over ten years. As a teacher, Zayde tailors his approach to each person’s learning style and goals, whether they want to play their favorite songs in Rock/Pop/Jazz/Classical or develop a deeper understanding of how music works. Outside of teaching, Zayde writes, produces, and performs songs, often incorporating musical comedy into his work. He has produced and performed in music videos and short films that expand on the themes and content in his music. Zayde has played on stages across New England and as a street performer throughout the Boston area. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Studio for Interrelated Media (SIM) at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. SIM is an interdisciplinary arts program that supports idea-centered artistic practice. With his diverse background and passion for music education, Zayde is committed to helping people of all ages and skill levels achieve their musical goals.
Zayde began teaching in 2016 and joined Note-worthy Experiences in January 2020.
