Music Lessons
Note-worthy Experiences provides private music lessons to students located in the Greater Boston MetroWest area of Massachusetts.
Students at all levels of study and of all abilities are welcome. With over 80 musical professionals on staff, we offer musical training in more than 30 instruments (see below), as well as musical composition, musical theater, songwriting, and additional music-related disciplines.
How long are lessons?
Generally, we recommend the following guidelines for a weekly lesson length based on the student’s age. The lesson length also varies based on the student’s skill level and goals.
- Age of Student and Recommended Length for Weekly Lessons
- 3-4: 15 minutes
- 5-8: 30 minutes
- 9-12: 45 minutes
- 13 +: 60 minutes
Please note: A minimum of a half-hour lesson is required for an instructor to travel to your home for lessons. Shorter lessons may be added on if a teacher is already teaching another student in the household.
